DrupalCamp

The Burren College of Art, Ballyvaughan, Co. Clare have kindly offered space to host this summer's DrupalCamp in Ireland. Wi-Fi, a large gallery space, a lecture theatre, a seminar room and cafeteria are available both days. And come evening we can enjoy some great restaurants and bars in the village, which also has several hotels, B&Bs and self catering cottages in which to stay. On top of that, it's set in the unique Burren landscape, looking out over Galway Bay. Doolin, Lahinch and Kinvara are nearby, so if you want to make a proper break of it and come earlier or stay on after the camp, there's lots to see and do.

If you're keen to help out in any way, please don't be shy, do let us know. What we really need now are for people to volunteer to give presentations on any aspect of Drupal for either absolute beginners or seasoned developers.

Ayer de forma inesperada comenzó a "caer"(llegar) una cantidad inusual de personas a la reunión. Llegamos a bordear los 40 asistentes!! y fue apenas el comienzo de la Invasión Drupal, en todo el sentido de la palabra!

Tuesday, January 12, 2010 is Florida DrupalCamp 2010 registration sprint day!

Let's make a big push today to get as many people signed up for Florida DrupalCamp (to be held February 20-21, 2010 in Altamonte Springs) as possible. This will help immensely in planning how much food and drinks we need to purchase as well as how many chairs, tents, and other stuff we need to reserve.

Det tog oss några veckor men nu är de äntligen här! Som en julklapp från oss till er finns nu flera av föreläsningarna tillgängliga att ses direkt här på www.drupalcamp.se. Inte nog med det, vi passade också på spela in intervjuer med flera av talarna.

I just wanted to give everyone a quick update on Florida DrupalCamp sponsorships and finances.

We just received 2 additional sponsorship pledges totaling $750. Thanks to Ryan for providing the contact information from his recent trip to DrupalCamp Chicago.

To date, we have $4,350 in sponsorship pledges and have received $2,798.43 in payments (this number includes the very first registrations for the camp).
