Gente, pura vida!,

Necesito usar un administrador de Ads en mi sitio, viendo info de foros sobre los que tiene el D7, me preocupa que se habla mucho de aumento de tiempos de carga generales.

Alguna experiencia que quieran compartir, tip, trick o algo en general sobre este tipo de feature es bien agradecida, vale la pena instalar este(os) módulo(s)?

Saludos, acabo de insertar la publicidad de Google Ads a través de bloques, en la parte de cuerpo del bloque cambio a la opción full html y deshabilito rich-text, para colocar el código de Google Ads, luego pongo guardar.

El problema es que cuando mi sitio corre, los avisos no siempre se visualizan y al parecer hay conflictos con flash, mi duda es:

1- ¿Es la forma correcta de insertar los avisos de google en mi sitio?
2- Insertarlos directamente con el codigo en node.tpl o page.tpl ¿es válido?

For 10 years I've helped small daily and weekly newspapers have successful websites, (400?) I have helped those clients with the software, but the main part of my consulting was the revenue - how the newspaper leveraged their traffic for income.

There is a new module for ad (banner) management. It integrates a 3rd party hosted adserver with Drupal (the Adverticum AdServer with interesting features) . So it's a cloud based alternative of the Advertisement and OpenX modules. The Adverticum has a free plan under 2 million adviews per month. The sign up form is at drupal.adverticum.com. Our newspaper has a restaurant directory for the city we report in, and we're building a restaurant directory. What I've done is made a content type called "Locations" and used taxonomy to identify different locations as venues, restaurants, etc...

In this case, I've set up a view that will only show locations tagged under "restaurants".

i just started a new module called OpenX Manager (OpenX = OpenAds). It will allow Drupal sites control remote OpenX servers. Users might create campaigns, banners, publishers and zones and also import all these data from the server.

It uses the OpenX API intensively. And because the API is new and yet very simplistic, the module only allows you to create/edit/delete these contents. Its not possible to check statistics for example.

My final objective is to integrate it with another module i maintain: e-Commerce, letting people to buy ad space.

I would love to get some feedback.
