Today (probably yesterday by the time I hit send!) has been a long day of organising our Brighton Area Drupal Association BAD Ass Drupal Weekender which is happening a week Friday, plus crunching videos from DrupalCon BoFs and continuing discussions on the Marketing of Drupal, more on that topic later!

Am sorting out ssh keys at the moment so I can grab a copy of the site and upload the sponsor logos etc. (always more welcome, we are working on a £280 budget at the moment!)

I've been working on a draft schedule today as I've had some time due to locking myself out of admin privileges on Drupal Branding and Marketing Committee group which I'm working on - d'oh!

Those who can are meeting up tomorrow - there's another writing club thingy which means we'll be kinda stuck in the newskiff bit again unless we're ok with the pub. I'm happy to save time and discuss on here so more people can join in - there's just stuff to do so ploughing through it so please do let me know your thoughts:

Our BAD Ass Drupal Weekender is shaping up to be another corker! I did a push the other day to get people to publish what sessions they are going to do and had a fantastic response - we now have 15 sessions proposed, including one which will be via the interwebs from Austin, TX.

Are you a PR person? Do you work with a PR person? Do you know a PR person who is connected in the Brighton area?

Let me know thanks, need to spread the word a little wider and even though it's late in the day for this year it's good to get the word out and make connections for future events.

With less than three weeks to go until our second DrupalCamp in Brighton - a.k.a. BADCampUK - we desperately need more session submissions as there's only 3, with over 20 attendees signed up.

"Organise earlier!" I hear you say. Well, yes, that's the plan, but things as they are this is how it is. I created this second camp as I want to align our camp with the yearly Brighton Digital Festival (http://2012.brightondigitalfestival.co.uk/) so that it raises the profile within the digital community at large and not just the Drupalers.

With less than three weeks to go until BADCampUK we have only 3 submitted sessions, one of them mine :D

Please over the next day or two submit sessions - doesn't have to be a lot of detail, just an overview. It would be great to see all the Drupal people in Brighton do sessions and show how big Drupal already is in Brighton and connect the community together, and with those who are interested in what this Drupal thing is.

If I had money, I'd offer bribes, but I don't so I won't.
