DrupalCon München

While still digesting all the info from DrupalCon Munich and day dreaming about Drupal 8 one aspect of DC Munich not yet reflected on our blog is FUN! yup it was a blast! (no not that kind…)… with a contingent of 6 we had plenty of it and Munich was most hospitable!

Today I've mostly been tidying up the marketing group home page, highlighting four topics we are currently canvassing for views on:

• What is it that Drupal does so well?
• Who are our "mindset" competitors that we need to overcome?
• Who are Drupal's competitors and what do they do particularly well?
• Who is Drupal's target group? What are their demographics? Psychographics?

Hoi hoi! I'm an American in Rotterdam for the summer and would appreciate a ride on the 20th of August. Of course I'd share expenses, and can also (legally) help drive.

(Ik kan ook wat Nederlands praten, maar waarschijnlijk uw Engels is heel beter. :-P)

Seit dem 22.3. ist die Registrierung für DrupalCon München 2012 offiziell eröffnet. Auf http://munich2012.drupal.org/register kann man sich mit seinem drupal.org-Userdaten für die DrupalCon vom 20. bis 24. August anmelden.

Die ersten 300 Tickets kosten 350 €, danach steigt der Preis in mehreren Stufen auf 400 € (bis 15. Juni), 475 € (bis 31. Juli), 525 € (bis 17. August) und schließlich 575 € für die Registrierung direkt auf der DrupalCon.

Eine begrenzte Anzahl von reduzierten Tickets zum Preis von 200 € ist für Studenten und Non-Profits verfügbar.
