2012 PNWDS BoFs
BoFs will be organized during the 2012 Summit using the unconference method. Propose topics on a whiteboard in the UW Mary Gates Hall Commons area on the 1st floor. BoFs will run concurrent with the Session topics on Saturday and Sunday.
If you have a BoF topic you want to discuss before the 2012 PNWD Summit, create a new discussion topic, or add a comment to an existing discussion.

For those of you who will be attending the Pacific Northwest Drupal Summit, who would have an interest in participating in a Docs BoF/sprint? I'm new to the Docs team, but I wouldn't mind organizing this (whenever the summit site gets BoFs up and running!). I also wouldn't mind helping someone out if they've got more experience in organizing a BoF of this type.
Thoughts?

Today I've mostly been tidying up the marketing group home page, highlighting four topics we are currently canvassing for views on:
- What is it that Drupal does so well?
- Who are our "mindset" competitors that we need to overcome?
- Who are Drupal's competitors and what do they do particularly well?
- Who is Drupal's target group? What are their demographics? Psychographics?

post-BOF
Hi everybody, if you were at the BoF today, it was great meeting all of you. Sometimes I feel like Drupal discussions are more of a "support group", but it was nice to see that many orgs are grappling with the same problems we have. The idea of Workflow/Workbench and approval processes was pretty revealing. As always, the implementation usually reveals the organizational culture. Museums sure are quirky, aren't they?

Graphing data in Drupal has been around for years in various forms but with Drupal 7 now on the scene we have some choices to make on how to move forward. All those who are interested in using Drupal to graph data, I propose we sit down and see if we can combine efforts by sharing what projects we are working on.
Even if you are not familiar with the current state of graphing data in Drupal your input is appreciated.
I hope to see you there and bring your lunch! :)
The BoF is scheduled on March 10th, 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM, in the Missouri room.
