2018 Twin Cities Drupal Camp
Twin Cities Drupal Camp is a four-day conference, held annually in the Minneapolis-St. Paul metro area. Every Drupal Camp features keynote speakers, sessions, code sprints, great parties, and lots of networking.

TCDrupal - February Happy Hour / Game Night - Thurs, Feb 1st
We tried the patio thing for Happy Hour in January and it just didn't work (despite the heated tent), so we are going to try something different this month.
Triplo and Silicon Prairie Portal and Exchange (https://sppx.io/) will host a Happy Hour / Game Night for the local Drupal community. Come on in from the cold for some social time and light Drupal chatter. We'll start at 5:30pm (Feb 1st) and go until the games end.
Beverages and light food stuff will be provided. Bring your own games (but don't worry, we'll have plenty).

UMN Drupal Users Meeting
Greetings UMN Drupalers!
Our next UMN Drupal Users meeting will take place on Monday, January 22nd, from noon to 1:00pm.
Last month, Jonathon Walz presented on using Docker for local Drupal 8 development without Acquia Dev Desktop, allowing for (near) zero-config of local environments. This month, we'll use our meeting time to practice using these tools for our own projects.

I am just passing along this announcement about an upcoming hack-a-thon in the Twin Cities - at the historic Union Depot. I will not be able to attend this hack-a-thon, but I have attended several similar events in the past and very much enjoyed them. I would attend if I could.
I would love to see Drupal better represented at local civic hacking events. This is a great opportunity for us to engage with other developers, learn about other technology and encourage the use of Drupal as a solution for important problems in our community.
