The University of Minnesota Drupal User Group works to share knowledge and resources, find solutions to shared challenges, and enable effective use of Drupal at University of Minnesota campuses across Minnesota. Staff, students, and faculty are all welcome here.
We will strive to be a bridge, not a silo, and encourage participation and sharing with others in our communities, be they geographical (Twin Cities at g.d.o) or professional (Higher Education).

Update
Due to a scheduling conflict, we're moving the originally-planned topic—using Drupal in the managed virtual server environment available through OIT—to our March meeting.
Read moreShibboleth and Drupal at University of Massachusetts
Quite by accident this morning, I came across the following post on the University of Massachusetts Amherst Drupal Group page -- http://groups.drupal.org/node/273533.
It appears they had a workshop scheduled to discuss Drupal/Shibboleth. Unfortunately it was canceled but the fact that work is being done in this area at UMass piqued my interest.
I thought maybe someone may have a contact there or could make one to share ideas and progress on Shibboleth integration. Or perhaps this is old news?
Either way, I figured I'd share this with the group. Happy Holidays!

No meetups in December! We've decided to cancel the December TC Drupal and TC Ubercart and Ecommerce group meetups which were scheduled for next Wednesday, December 26th (Boxing Day!). Our normal venue, Intermedia Arts will be officially closed next week and almost everyone we know will be otherwise occupied.
So, let's live it up for the holidays and get together next at the regular monthly TC Drupal Happy Hour which is scheduled for the following week on Thursday January 3rd at the Blue Nile in Minneapolis (official announcement to be posted soon -- hint hint...).
Happy holidays! See you in 2013.

Hello, All,
I've been trying to move a drupal site onto one of the U's shared servers and have run into some problems. I wonder if anyone out there has done this and might be able to give me some pointers. Here's a summary of what I've been able (and unable) to do:
- I was, after much trial and error, able to get a drupal site operating at cfans.instepp.oit.umn.edu/instepptest. I am running into a number of issues, however, including:
Refining our mission
A clearly-defined mission will help us focus our work and articulate our purpose to others, as well as ourselves. Here's my first crack at a Mission Statement:
