Welcome to VANDUG!
The Vancouver Drupal Users Group (VanDUG) is the local meeting place for Greater Vancouver people interested in Drupal. We were formerly known as the Vancouver League of Drupalers, but that's a long story.
The group mostly hangs out on Slack at https://vandug.slack.com/. We also post our meetings on Meetup.com at https://www.meetup.com/Vancouver-Drupal-Users-Group. All are welcome, it's listed as a private group to keep out the griefers.
We've been holding semi-regular virtual meetings during COVID-19.

Read moreCreate an Action for a Trigger
Hi Experts,
I am an experienced PHP programmer but a litter bit new to Drupal.
I have created a new content type and set a trigger for a new post, but I don't know where to place the action scripts so that the trigger could be automatically handled. This content type is pretty simple, so I guess it may not be worth to write a module. I am not sure it's a normal way to deal with triggers and actions. Hope you experts could give me some hints, and any suggestions are welcomed. Thanks!
BTW, I'm using Drupal 6.4.
Cheers,
Steve
Displaying multiple cck_map instances on a single page
Hello all,
I am having an issue right now (Drupal 5.9, CCK 5.x-1.7, cck_map 5.x-3.3, views 5.x-1.6) where I have a view that returns full nodes that contain a Google Map. This works fine and great.
However, the issue is that only the Google Map in the first displayed node is rendered properly, the others do not render and I have an error in my FF3 logs:
Error: a is null Source File: http://maps.google.com/intl/en_ALL/mapfiles/122b/maps2.api/main.js Line: 312
Has anyone else ever seen this issue and if so how did you work around it?
Cheers,
E/.

Read moreassistance with files in Drupal 5.x
Hi all,
I need some help with the following situation.
User A uploads a file that only User B is allowed to see. I want to have User A easily upload the file and then, via a view, have User B access the new file.
I have already turned of private files in Drupal to enable the first level of security but I don't know how to easily set up the modules/permissions to have User B (or User A) access the file.
Thanks in advance,
E/.
