Brighton Drupal Christmas Meetup
Ho ho ho! Last year instead of our usual monthly pub meetup we all went out for a jolly Christmas meal, and there was much rejoicing. Should we do the same again this year?
If anyone has any suggestions on restaurants please add them. Also please sign up for this so we can get a tally on the number of people we need to book tables for.

Display submitted session proposals so can see what might be on, what's not there if proposing, etc.- Display 'community' page with profile pics so can see who's coming
- No "XXL" size T-shirt
- If T-shirts being given with ticket then ask things like that and meal preference on registration form as people don't bother going back often

Hey lovely people,
Just wanted to introduce you to Lizzie (if you don't already know her :) ) - Lizzie has recently moved to Brighton and straight away jumped on board to help us with DCB which is amazing and just what we need. We have had a meeting and Lizzie is going to assign some things for people to do.

We need to confirm the sunday format - sessions, sprints and BoFs.
I think we should probably only have a few sessions on the sunday as many people will probably be leaving Brighton that day - but have sessions and BoFs run alongside them? Maybe just do 1 track of sessions.
What are peoples thoughts?

Brighton UK Drupal contrib meetup @ the skiff
Our regular "after a short break" 1st Monday Drupal contrib meetup at the Skiff.
So come along and help make Drupal great :)
Things to can get involved with
- Work and get others to help in starting a sandbox project.
- Review / write patches for existing modules.
- Review & test patches.
- Help document.
- D8 Core ....
DrupalCamp Brighton update
Just a few things I wanted to say as I can't make it tonight...
1) I went to middle street with Xavier- looks really good. we can have a small room for tutorials / workshops and then a bigger room for sessions. They suggest no more than 60 - they wouldn't suggest even having that many people - I doubt we will get that many people for the friday anyways.
Auditorium hire: £200 a day
Bar Area: £50 for half a day
Meeting Room: £80 a day
Tea/ coffee / water from £2.50 per head per serving
Catering from £20 a head to include all drinks, snacks at break times and lunch.
Brighton Drupal November Pub Meetup
In Brighton, the third Tuesday of the month means we should get together, have a pint, and talk about Drupal! In other words, it's our monthly pub meetup.
Our usual location is The Eagle on Gloucester Road, but due to the upcoming camp we may want to meet elsewhere to discuss that first. So we'll finalise the location of the November meetup closer to the date.

I'm keen for us to get these up and running again in Brighton, they're quarterly I believe so shouldn't be too hard to manage... ;)
The day before DrupalCon Amsterdam they trained 250 people for free - students, job seekers, etc. - would LOVE to get those sorts of numbers trained here - one can dream! Would be good to get in contact with various people like the uni, council, brighthelm, etc. to promote.

Hi all,
I think it would be cool if your next meetup could be announced soon so that Drupalers elsewhere in the UK like myself who would like to attend the Brighton Digital Festival too, can plan a trip.

Since we haven't ever really decided on alternative days for us to do our monthly pub/talk meetup, and today is the day we've always done it in the past, I say we should we meet up tonight, drink pints, and discuss the plans for the camp and our future meetups.
7:00pm at the Eagle, or if anyone has any alternative suggestions that might be able to accommodate all us outside somewhere, I'd be up for that, too!

London Drupal Beer and Chat July 28th
Come and join us for July's London Drupal meetup. Each month we get around 40 Drupal developers, business owners, hackers and tinkerers to have a beer and good natter about all things Drupal and technology. Feel free to drop by any time after 7pm and stay for as long or short as you like. We're a friendly, diverse bunch so don't feel shy of coming along if you've never been before.
As usual we'll be taking a break in August for summer holidays and then we'll be back in September.
