Drupal 8 Release Parties

Join Drupal Users from all across the Southeast to celebrate the launch of Drupal 8!

When: The party starts at 8pm on Thursday November 19th and ends at midnight.

Where: We'll be in Downtown Disney at the Hilton Lake Buena Vista! We'll be in Salon 6.

What: We'll have tshirts, giveaways, trivia, food to give away, and there will be plenty of beer to drink, too!

Details: We're collaborating with a local free open source conference, Fossetcon, to provide the venue. Fossetcon will be Nov 19th-21st at the same venue, and topics include Linux, Docker, Drupal, and other free software. Tickets to Fossetcon start at $10. More details on Fossetcon at http://fossetcon.org. You do not need a ticket to Fossetcon to attend the party.

Join us for a double whammy event for a celebration of the groundbreaking new Drupal 8 release and the launch party for the innovative new Drupal Hub collaboration being developed at Sunderland Software Centre. We'll have a presentation about Drupal 8 and join the global showing of appreciation to all those who have contributed to this amazing achievement. Drupal Hub is a new initiative between Consult and Design, Make it Sunderland, Sunderland Software City and Drupal North East to put the Software Centre at the heart of the Drupal community in the region.

If you are in Resistencia, Corrientes or closest places, come to our party to talk about drupal 8, get some drinks and eat pizza.

Drupal 8 is officially here and we are super excited to invite you to Cape Town's Drupal 8 release event, at our November meetup on 19 November at 6pm.

The event will start off with an in-depth talk on Drupal 8 by D8 Core Contributor Michael Schmid, CTO of Amazee Labs, who will be sharing his insights and experience with us.

Michael Schmid aka Schnitzel is a key member and contributor to the Drupal community. Be it as a Drupal core contributor, mentor, speaker or organiser.
