Drupal 8 is coming! Now that we know Drupal will be released on November 19th, 2015, we can begin the party planning! We suggest you organize a party that week (or even better on the exact release day). Add sweets, sessions, shirts, stickers or whatever fits to spice it up.
Listing your party here will ensure that it's also displayed on Drupical and shared with the entire world. Make sure to tweet about your party too with the #celebr8d8 hashtag. Add your party as an event in this group (cross-posted possibly to other local groups). For event titles, make sure to use the format 'Drupal 8 Release Party: [Town/City, Region]'.
Need the Drupal 8 logo files for a cake, stickers, shirts or banners at your party? Use the official Drupal 8 artwork, but don't forget to share your awesome remixes and mashups as well.

Drupal 8 Release Party (7p, Downtown Ann Arbor)
Hey all, if you haven't heard, the Drupal 8 release date was just set to November 19, 2015, baring any issues.
A2Drupal will host a regional release party on the 19th at 7pm in Bar Louie in downtown Ann Arbor. This is where we usually go after our normal meetups and is across the street from Spark Central (intersection of Division and Liberty). Please signup to this event so we can get a decent count.
