Hi,

Is there some way, when I create a custom content type to flag a field as global (programaticaly or otherwise) between the created pages?
For example let's say the field in question is a file field, and I create "Page A" I select a file for the file field. Now if create "Page B"
the file field should be prepopulated with the file that I defined on "Page A" because they are of the same type. If I change the file
on "Page B" it should also change on "Page A".

Any ideas?

Hey folks, Is the HKDUG Nov Meetup tonight? Is it still on?

Any ideas of a good module that I can protect my site's login from brute force attacks?
Or maybe is the a way to disable the login altogether? By allowing the admin who has access to the server
to turn it on and off?

I'm going to be visiting HK next month (Nov 20-25) and was wondering if there were any HKDUG meetups planned. I'm mostly curious because I organize the Denver meetups and would love to see how other meetups are run. Also, since the 2012 North American Drupalcon is being held in Denver, I may have some pre-drupalcon schwag and promo items to give out.

而事实上，由于在全局中$form_state都是引用的，每个表单默认的#submit项为第一个处理函数，也就是说该函
数处理完成后，根据处理流程，接下来#submit项添加的处理函数应该可以获得上一个函数执行后的结果。
而实际情况并非如此，排在#submit项第一个后面的函数会先开始执行，而且不是由form.inc来控制的，而是在
node.page.inc中，由node_form_submit();函数来执行，导致顺序颠倒，后面的函数失去意义。且该执行流程逻
辑错误。所有#submit指定项都应该由form_execute_handlers();来操作执行，而不是node_form_submit();

form_execute_handlers();判断需要执行的$handlers部分时，逻辑错误.

I have fallen into a pattern which works well for me. But I would like your comments - warnings, advice, extras, etc. Please let me pick your wisdom.

I was wondering if you guys have any experience in pulling data from Facebook (own account) into a drupal based website. Like status updates, photo album etc.

How have you managed that?

Hi guys,

I migrated a drupal website to the production server and since then I'm getting a lot of permissions errors.
The files and tmp folder are not writable and only when I set the permissions to 777, drupal can write the folder.
Judging from the above problem I guess the owner/group of the above folder is wrong, unfortunately I don't have
permissions to run chown on the production server. So my question is what do I have to ask the server
administrator to set the owners of the folder to? Apache user? And what abou the group?

Any help is highly appreciated,
