Just wondering, do you guys use twitter? Even though it might not be encouraged here to use other means to connect other than the Drupal group, still I thought it would be very useful if we could form a HK drupaler network so that we could get some fast answer from it.
I will add all the HK Druplers who connects to me to the public list https://twitter.com/#!/SourceSqr/drupalhk. For the late comers much later in this post, you can just follow this list (certainly when it continues to grow...) instead of following their account one by one.
Read moreHiding main menu when using superfish
I've installed superfish menu on a Drupal 7 install, running a Zen sub-theme.
I have the superfish menu working, but I need to get rid of the standard main menu. See pic - you can see I have the main menu links and then the superfish menu below.
I realise I could do it with CSS using display:none, but isn't there a better, more official way of doing it?
Thanks!

Hi everyone,
Last year I created an open source project on Drupal called "Open Hippel" (http://groups.drupal.org/node/59918), even though that itself has been forced to come to an end, a few new projects were spawned from it, directly or indirectly, including the startup I co-founded - Makible.com; the direct descendent of Open Hippel lead by Soren - HaveGet.org; and finally, a project that is related to Makible's invention business - PeerPatent.org.

Reversing array of taxonomy terms
I want to reverse the order of the taxonomy terms that appear on a node, as it's a more logical order of the hierarchy.
i.e. I want the highest level first, filtering down to the lowest.
Glass & Porcelain >> Antique Mirrors >> Antique Gilt Mirrors
instead of the other way:
Antique Gilt Mirrors >> Antique Mirrors >> Glass & Porcelain
In the node.tpl.php file I have located where the terms are called:
<
div class="links-wrapper">
<?php
print $links;
?><?php
if ($terms):
?>PRODUCTION SITE AS MASTER
How can I develop a site where the production site is the master copy?

There used to be a node:translation filter in Views in D6, that seems to be gone or missing in D7. Some said it's a bug, yet there are only questions without answer all over the web.

Node_View w/ Webform
Has anyone encountered problem using node_view to embed a webform in a node in D7?
I used to be able to use the following code to embed a webform node in another node with no problem back in D6:
<?php
$form_nid = 5;
$form_node = node_load($form_nid);
print node_view($form_node);
?>In my D7 installation, it returns just the word "Array" for some reason. I have tried enable the said form in block and embed it in a node too with no avail:
<?php
$block = module_invoke('webform', 'block_view', 'client-block-5');
print $block['content'];
?>Drupal 7 Web Hosting in Hong Kong
I have recently started to work on a project on Drupal 7, however sadly our current hosting partner does not have a share hosting option that can meet the system requirement for Drupal 7. What do you guys use for your Drupal 7 projects? Can anyone recommend 1 or 2 plans that are economical for a small development house?
Thanks!
P.S. Haven't seen you guys for quite a while already due to work. How has everyone been? :)

base path question
I'm displaying a block with an image throughout my site, however, on certain pages, the image doesn't display.
I figured out that this is because the path is changed for clean url's so '/content/' is added to urls for things like 'about' pages and other nodes on the site
I think I need to use the base_path() function to solve this but i'm not quite sure how to use it.
The link i need to change is:
<a href="node/add/item-request"><img src="sites/default/files/headerbanner/request-item-button.png"></a>
How would I use base_path()? to solve this issue?
Thanks,

Disable all modules on minor upgrade
I'm just trying to do a minor upgrade from Drupal 6.20 to 6.22, a security update.
Do I need to disable all contrib modules before doing this?
And if so, is there a tool out there that allows you do this all in one go? And then re-enable?

Drupal on MS Windows Server Standard 2003
Hi Guys,
All the experience I have with Drupal is on Linux with PHP and mySQL. I'm working on
a project were the client has an old server, Intel Pentium 4 3.2 GHz CPU 2GB RAM
with Windows Server Standard 2003. And I'm wondering if I continue with their setup
I'm I entering a "world of pain"? Is there a big difference working on a Windows machine compare
to linux when working with Drupal?
Thanks,
Manolis
