Show name of country in Views summary when using Countries module
I am using the Countries module (7.x-2.0-beta2) with Drupal 7.12. A Country field is part of a node and a View of all these nodes looks like this:
Place1 United States
Place2 Mexico
Place3 United States
Place4 Canada
Place5 Mexico
The Views summary, with Country field as contextual filter/argument results in the following:
CA (1)
MX (2)
US (2)
I want to get the default or full country name rather than 2-character ISO country code in the summary, but have not managed that despite trying different country field configurations.

How to access to private fields in a WFS feed fron Geoserver ?
Hi,
I am working on coupling a WFS feed (6.x-1.x-dev) and Geoserver (2.1.3) in order to get an image format from a Geoserver WMS call.
The WFS feed is made of private dynamic fields (6.x-1.0) which are correctly evaluated when i am logged in from the Drupal website but not from an external call to the WFS URL (for example from Geoserver).
Except this, this method works fine to get an image from a right click on the map displayed through openlayer client configured with a WMS layer.
Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

Possible to download GPX/GPS used in Views?
I have already made it possible for ALL people to download in these formats RSS, XMP, CSV, KML and Map http://beta.findtoilet.dk/feeds/municipality - would it also be possible to download GPS? I use Drupal 6 and Gmap and Location modules.

Icons based on categories
Hi,
I've got some locations, and as per http://www.interworks.com/blogs/mmueggenborg/2012/01/03/setting-drupal-7..., I've set up a view to show my locations on an openlayers map. Now the user wants me to use different icons based on categories. I've found a module called openlayers_taxonomy, which requires that I pass taxonomy terms as arguments, and I don't see how that will help. Care to help me?

I have tried it in different browsers and it only happens sometimes and for different KML-files.
Think it would be best NOT to open in browser but ask for download just as CSV does.

I have installed http://drupal.org/project/kml for Drupal 6 but have some questions.
- KML: Style options
Select the fields that contain the latitude, longitude and title of each point. Remaining fields will be available in the "content" region of the point.
What does this mean? How can I get the info from "content"?
I can only choose:
Name: *
Description: *
Longitude: *
Latitude: *
I have used it for ALL http://tinemuller.dk/div/findtoilet.kml but can it also be used for terms so there will be different files and if yes how?

Showing users located close to location of node in D6
I am using location and gmap in D6. I can already users in a view or on a map.
I would like show users within X distance of a location stored in a page of a specific content type (I'm calling it "location page".
So, if I had a page for Boston, I could store a location for Boston on that page and would like that page to show a list of users within 10 miles of that location.
I realize this is not as flexible as other possible approaches, but I want specific pages for a small number of cities/towns.

Hello,
I would like to make a view for one map. I guess the view will show certain types of content types.
based on my research & practice, I figured out it is easy to implement. However, I do now want to show them on actual map such as Google map view or Bing, Mapquest, etc.
I wish I can show locations on one layer (just State boundary; like shapefile). then users can click the loation(point) & it should connect to the node page.
I could not found the option in gmap, or openlayer module.
Does any one know how to do this? please give me some tips.

hello everybody. listen, i am making a community site for my community that lives in detroit, 139 square miles. i would like to have a lot of mapping features. i was wondering how small a map area can i get? if i could get numerous accurate location pins in a city block, that would be fine.
