I'm having trouble uploading pdf's larger than 2 MB using FckEditors default filebrowser. Could it be my connection having a restriction or is there a upload setting I need to tweak to make it work? I upload pdf's mostly from work rather frequently (2 - 6 a week).

I struggle to upload pdf's from work, but it does not seem that I can replicate the problem from home.

Hey Diegen, This could be a number of problems. I would say that it is either a file upload restriction on the server. Most servers come with 2MB as a limit out of the box. Create a blank php page and output phpinfo(). It will tell you what the upload limit is.

The other problem is if you have a slow internet connection, it could be timing out, but that should only happen with pretty large files

Yes it was that - doh ! Pitty there's no preloader type of progress indication here. Is that even possible with the default file manager or others like IMCE ?

I'm not sure on that question
