I would like to open a discussion after a chat on #drupal-usability channel about admin/build/themes and administration theme settings page.

Based on the fact that multiple theme functionality will be removed from D7 core and moved to contrib.

Here is the first draft we can start with: http://www.flickr.com/photos/30032901@N04/2922043198/sizes/o/

Three tabs
- List - list of installed themes where user can choose front-end and back-end themes
- Site Theme (in the image front-end theme) - configuration of selected front-end theme merged together with current Configuration tab (global theme settings)
- Admin Theme (in the image back-end theme) - configuration of selected back-end theme - merged conf as well (back-end theme specific)

We dropped
- Configuration tab
- Configure next to theme selected theme
- Default theme
- Enabled theme
- Version column - placed under theme description (I guess its not that important to have it in a column here?)

We can also highlight active themes and put them on the top of the list.

Labels are subject to change.

forgot to say, configuration

forgot to say,
configuration in admin theme:
role specific visibility settings options
and
instead of having a checkbox 'Use administration theme for content editing' there could be a textarea where we can use wildcards
(similar to block configuration)

example: user account, login form,...
