The Georgetown Hoya (http://www.thehoya.com) recently made the transition to Drupal about a year ago. We're now looking to upgrade to Drupal6, but wanted to get some feedback from the development/drupal community on the progress we have made so far. Please let me know your thoughts!

This is a pretty good for

This is a pretty good for only being a year old. The main issue I see right now is the length of that scrollbar. It's pretty long; I would see if you can't cut back on the teaser length and perhaps move some items from the sidebar (perhaps the poll) into the center column.

There's a lot of good things going on with your two sidebars. The one thing I would recommend is bumping up the email edition block way higher up. It's a great feature but very few are going to find it as low as it is.

Moving forward, I think it would be good to give some editors some flexibility in how they layout the front page and arrange the articles.

And this is a minor nitpick, but I see some articles listed as Mar 23 and others as Mar 24. If you're a twice-weekly, then I would assume you're not publishing on back-to-back days. It seems like the editors are being a bit inconsistent with dates.

As for upgrading to Drupal 6, I'm pretty sure it would benefit your site. You seem to be very block-heavy with the left and right sidebar, and Drupal 6 introduces block caching among many other improvements.
