Hi Team!

Some of you may have already heard through the frontpage or Twitter, but the announcement has just gone up that I'm stepping down as Docs Co-Lead: http://drupal.org/node/1402190

Officially, Jennifer and I have been filling this role for just over a year, and unofficially closer to two. It's been really exciting to see a lot of our plans come to fruition (did you notice http://drupal.org/node/1278256 was rolled out last week???!!!), and to help so many people figure out how to work on the docs. It's also been a lot of work, and a pretty time-intensive role to fill in a way that really keeps the momentum going.

I'm hoping to see more people step up and help manage the newly appointed "Community Documentation", and eventually the curated docs if/when that becomes a reality. There is a real need for help just working through the issue queue and addressing and closing issues, as there are a lot built up. I plan to keep helping out with the online docs, and giving my "2 cents" about infra plans, and will attend events as I'm able to, but this is a great opportunity for interested parties to jump in and help out some more. I always thought that the online docs would be better managed by a group rather than an individual, so the more people maintaining them, the better!

If you've been waiting for your queue (get it? groan...), this is it! Dig in and get your hands dirty on some docs issues - the more those get knocked down, the more we can transition to just focusing on using the Manage page to monitor the state of the docs.

It's been a blast working with all of you, and I'll be sticking around so don't worry about me disappearing off the face of the earth. I just need/want to put some more time and effort into taking care of myself, and doing some of my other hobbies, but Drupal will continue to be one of them.

Thanks for everything!
Ariane

Thanks so much for all you've given to this community. Nobody has to keep doing the same thing forever, so we wish you joy in your next "thing". We're hoping you'll choose something you love to do and get some refreshment out of it.

thanks ...

Wow, thanks everyone!!!

Denver is probably 70% likely at this point, but I haven't made any proper plans yet... I keep hearing more people are coming though so I think the percentage is creeping up... ;)

Thank you!
