From many sides I hear that Drupal sites and themes are ugly, which is partly true, but I took a closer look at Drupal.org themes and handpicked 25 best designed Drupal 6 themes, to prove that Drupal can be beautiful even using standard themes that you can find on drupal.org website.

I'm working on the second version and you have some good themes in there that I missed or that came out after I had written the articles. We need more articles like this, Drupal themes are starting to go to another level, all the bad rap we used to get is undeserved now.

There was a featured list on
There was a featured list on d.o but there weren't any maintainers and the admins shut it down. If we want a featured theme section, we need a maintainer and we need to lobby the d.o admins. This was one two years ago, so I think we have a better chance of maintaining it now.
I don't know what Artiseer
I don't know what Artiseer is... but those themes on that link are horrible. This is the 4th time I got a message on these boards for those links... I think they are just trying to get back links. Not even the boobs hanging out on the site could sell those themes.
