Join the Documentation Team for our regular "office hours" meeting in the #drupal-docs IRC channel. We usually meet on the first Tuesday of the month at 9 AM US/Pacific time and the third Tuesday of the month at 4pm US/Pacific time to discuss:
- Writing and editing Drupal documentation -- you can help!
- Improving infrastructure and tools for Drupal documentation -- your input is valuable!
- Volunteering and recruiting volunteers for Drupal Documentation
If you can't make one of our regular meetings, check the #drupal-docs IRC channel at any time to see if someone has time to chat about your question or concern. Or try reading:
- New contributor tasks: a great place to start for anyone new to contributing to the Drupal project and/or documentation, with a specific section for writers
- Contribute to Documentation: comprehensive guide to how to contribute to Drupal documentation

- Standards/progress for replacing the hard-to-edit Form API Reference with documentation in core (issues: http://drupal.org/node/1617948 for the standards, and http://drupal.org/node/100680 for having the API module handle generating the reference).
