When creating how-to oriented videos and recording lessons. Please distribute the video in a format that windows, linux and mac-users all can use without any hazzel. I think we all would benefit from trans coding the videos to .xvid which is an open format before we put it out. The .ogg-format are perfect for podcasts.
I personally recommend using VLC which are cross platform.
Thank you for your concern.

That avatar...
Completely offtopic, but is it possible that you got your avatar from SiMoNsAyS? I think it's from a series of icons/avatars from him... (Yes, I know him)
It's just kind of funny to see his work here :)
This Thing Is Not Very Portable
I tried a few times last night to encode the video, but I have not produced video for the internet for some time and I did not have a suitable encoder or codecs. I will work on this and find a portable format for users across all platforms. I just thought I would get that video out there while it was still early. As I am writing this I am encoding Lesson #2 to flash and it should be on one of my servers later this evening. I won't be able to zip it until I get off work, but the video should run from my server. I'm open to encoding recommendations and a standardization, just drop me a line and we'll get it going.
