Hi there,
my name is Nico and (just like Benjamin) I work for a big newspaper site in Hamburg, Germany. I'm tied to the frontend part of developing our community platform, based on Drupal (5), as a frontend programmer and designer. Just a big hello to all newspaper-guys around here! :)

a lot of German newspaper sites either switch to Drupal or use it as a "sitekick". More to follow :-)

We do both
At Morris, in the U.S., we're using Drupal to power two entire sites (well, except for the classifieds). We also have a blogs-only platform that we plugin to our existing sites and registration.
