help with URL arguments to make REST server output taxonomy fields

Hi everyone,

I'm a bit of a beginner to the Services module. On my site, I have a view that displays taxonomy fields from specific terms, filtered by a term from another vocabulary. For example, I have a vocabulary of terms called "nightclubs" and a vocabulary called "neighborhoods" that's used to sort each nightclub. Each nightclub is associated with a neighborhood via a taxonomy field. My view shows me a list of terms (nightclubs) in whatever neighborhood term is passed through the contextual filter, and a few fields for each term (name, description, address, etc).

I'm essentially trying to replicate the results of this view in XML served by a REST server when queried with a specific URL for each "neighborhood." It seems that REST can do this when I look at the functions available in taxonomy_resource.inc, and I know a variety of arguments can be passed in the URL to define what gets output in XML, but I have no idea how to construct the URL and what arguments are available.

Specifically, I'll need to tell the REST server which taxonomy fields to output into the XML for each "nightclub" term, and which "neighborhood" term to filter the results by.

Does this make sense? I'll take any guidance, no matter how general, when it comes to structuring query URLs and outputting taxonomy fields. Thanks!
