Getting your site on google news

I am struggling to get my site on google news, its a news site but I get stuck with the sitemap.

Does anyone have a tutorial on how to get your Drupal site on google news? Is it really simple or is my struggle normal?

I'm currently using Xml sitemap, i'll try to submit it again

Honestly, it seems mostly random. We were able to get accepted without an XML sitemap at all -- just persistence. It took two or three attempts.

Just a quick question, when you submit your site to Google News, what is the best option?

They ask two questions:

Are you a representative of the news provider for the content you're suggesting?

(which you then just post the link)

if you say yes you have to fill in a form

Uh, answer honestly? :)

I would assume that since you're posting here, it's your site. So you should pick "yes" and fill out the form.

New groups
