Possible changeups to the Front End Drupal Meetup
I have been hosting the Front End meetup for about a year now and I would like community feedback on an idea that I have.
I would like to change the Front End meetup to long meet every other month. At the same time I would like to start a Drupal Ladder group going every opposing month.

This is the Front-End Drupal meetup.
Frank Anderson will present an introduction to the newest release of the Zen theme.
The Zen 6.x has a whole slew of new features:
- Component-based CSS
- KSS Style Guide
- libSass
- Gulp
I will go over the latest features as well as give a background on each. I will also talk a bit on the Drupal 8 version that is in development.
We will have pizza, just like last time.

I run a 5-person Drupal shop headquartered in Portland. We've been in business 20 years and have been focused on Drupal since 2009.
I would love to get to know and network with other Drupal shop CEOs and managers in this area.
Would anyone be interested in getting together from time to time? In addition to just meeting others who do my same type of job, my objectives are to share lessons learned, war stories, ideas about how to sell/market, manage teams, promote Drupal, contribute to the Drupal community, etc.

Drupal Frontend Meetup - April 2016 - Drupal 8 UI walkthrough
This is the Front-End Drupal meetup.
Last month February Amber Matz talked about Twig.
This time:
Frank Anderson will present an introduction to Site Building with Drupal 8 with a walkthrough the UI. Frank will cover Drupal 8's main features, Content Types, Configuration Syncing, Views, Responsive Images, Blocks, and much more (basically Frank will attempt to do anything that can be done without code). Including an overview on some contrib modules.
