Hello All,
I have found out a solution to creating a paid content site! I was 500 words into a wiki earlier when Backspace took me back a page and I lost it all, so you'll have to wait a few days before you have a tutorial, but all in all, you may be able to figure it out.
1.Ubercart (you're going to be using the built in role purchase system.) Ubercart will also create an account for the user. (I'm still toying with the best way to create the accounts)
2.CCK
3.The Field Permissions Module for CKK (which is quite awesome)
I am looking into the Menu Per Role module as a way to control menu views.
Sorry for the hasty post, it's busy here at home. I thought I could at least provide you all with a general direction to look in!

Premium Module
Yes I have, but it seems to no longer be in development. I chose this configuration because the modules are in development, and will most likely be present in Drupal 7, while Premium may not, therefore making it easier to switch in the future. Also, I haven't tested it completely , but it will most likely provide more functionality.
