Again, Drupal Happy Hour is an opportunity to go out, have a few beers (or beverage of your choice) and talk Drupal. No agenda, just a bunch of geeks hanging out. This series events will happen on the last Wednesday night of every month! Both English and 中文, or sometimes PHP are spoken at events, 并且我们期待有更多的中国Drupal开发人员加入我们的活动！

This month, we are collobrating with Techyizu, therefore, we expect a large happy hour event.

How does "sports on the 8th" sound?

It is of common knowledge that Australians like practicing sports in general (surfing, running, Australian football, soccer, rugby, swimming, etc...) and are usually very good.
As there is a sports event organized for the Drupal Shanghai community on the 8th (
DruSports SH - October 25th, 2014wrong link, but same event: Nov 8th, soon to be posted), I thought you might be interested to join in, try out a couple of sports (especially playing ping-pong against Chinese... rather challenging) and take part to the activities in the afternoon with everyone.On top of meeting the local Chinese community, we would be able to talk shop, Drupal or internet technologies in general, between breaks from a sport to another.
Lastly, after a dynamic afternoon, if you are free, we could go out for dinner together with everyone that would like to tag along.

I need to clarify that I'm actually a Kiwi living in Australia, but we also love sports!
Looking forward to the rugby game this weekend Australia vs New Zealand - NZ has already won the cup for the 12th year in a row - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bledisloe_Cup - but it's always a good game to watch.
DruSports sounds like an awesome idea, very keen to come along.
Will keep an eye out for the new event and sign up, look forward to meeting the local community!

How could I have missed the sensational rugby game on October 18th as the All Blacks clinched a vital victory in Game 3 of the Bledisloe Cup, overcoming bitter rivals Australia 29-28 (...by a point) in a thrilling match at the Suncorp Stadium, Brisbane.
You're so lucky to be going to Fiji for the local rugby sevens tournament! I checked a bit the pictures on the site you shared and the atmosphere and spirit really looked amazing.
I'm sure we'll have plenty to talk about when we meet on the 8th.
