This isn't yet public information, but I wanted to give this group a chance to register for the event before we open it up to the public...
The Adobe Flex team is hosting on a one night event in July that will allow developers to learn more about Adobe Flex and the upcoming Flex 3 release. The event is being called Flex Camp, and is scheduled for July 27th, at the Adobe San Francisco office, from 5:00 PM to 11:30 PM or so.
The URL for registration is http://flexcamp.eventbrite.com. There's also an agenda there so you can see what we're going to cover. A key part of the Camp format is for attendees to determine the content - we'll have a wiki up shortly that will allow people to do presentations during the second half of the event. (It would be great to have a Flex / Drupal presentation!)
The event is completely free, we’re also providing food and drinks throughout the night. Members of the Flex engineering team will be on site to answer questions you may have about Flex or Adobe AIR.
We will only accept 300 people at the event, and we’re pretty sure that its going to sell out quickly. I’m hoping to announce it to the general public at the end of next week, so you have a few days to register before it goes live.
If you have any questions about the event, let me know. The event will be similar to a previous event called Apollo Camp held in San Francisco a few months ago, which was very popular. A Google search will turn up a number of positive comments about that event.
