Do you mean an Desktop Client for OS X, Linux or Windows?

And do you mean "me personally" or my opinion wether my journalists would / should use it?

i am building a c# client through which it would be possible to manage the drupal portal from desktop via API keys and using services module.

This sounds interesting. Can you further define what "manage" means? Do you mean manage content, configuration, etc. ?
