There are lots of tasks this group should commit to. So many, it is overwhelming. But there is hope. As GHOP was very successful, and some Usability tasks were completed very successfully there, now there is DROP . Apart from being a wonderful idea, it could be very useful to usability tasks.
Reworking the entire admin section (which I believe would be worth it) can be intimidating in its sheer size. So why not breaking it up into short and sweet DROP tasks and also getting people in, that don't visit this group? I started by adding this task (all tasks are worked on as issues) http://drupal.org/node/222367 . There could be many, many more. If DROP gets near anything GHOP was, Tasks will even be desparately needed.
Extend our manpower by getting People in - you can mentor a task if you don't have the time to work on it yourself but want to be active in it.

This is indeed an excellent idea, I think, as both a GHOP student, a usability connoisseur, and a DROP admin. Let me know if you have any problems with DROP- I hope to see everyone over there!
