Scheduled Auto Publishing of group of Nodes in time intervals?

Hi All,

Right now I have rules coupled with the Flag module so that when I flag a node, it gets "marked for publishing."

Hi, I was informed of the Rules module by a member on the Drupal forums - and was extremely pleased with such a powerful module - and after digging into Rules a bit more, have come to a bit of a snag.

Problem when using the action "Populate field" together with tokens in a CCK number field

Hi,

i try to use a token within a rules action that should copy one cck field value from one node to another. It works perfectly for text fields, but i have a problem with my number fields, because they allow only inputs of a maximum of 10 characters. Enough for all numbers but not for long tokens. Is there a workaround?

How can I "Page redirect" back to the referring URL

I have a situation where a link leads to a dummy page who's only purpose is to execute a rule. So when the link is clicked the rule is WHEN CONTENT IS GOING TO BE VIEW -> ADD USER ROLE.

That rules work fine and the user is left at the dummy page. The dummy page has no content and I want to redirect the user back to the page they were referred by so that they see it with their new role in place because it will now have different features.

Is it possible to assign a role which only functions when user is groupadmin?

Hi all,

I'm trying to use this great module with Organic groups, which leaves me with the following question.

Is it possible to assign a role to a groupadmin that will only function in the context of that group?

Lets say a groupadmin receives a role after creation of a groupnode of a certain type.
Then he decides he wants to become a member of another groupnode of the same type he just became groupadmin of.
Now his groupadmin role of his own group shouldn't function. Instead he should receive a member role.

Hope this makes sense.

Unpublish node when other node with same title is created

I am building a site which depends on user-created content. In order to encourage users to contribute, I have a node type called Suggestion, which has a title field and nothing else. On my frontpage a list of these suggestions is displayed.

Now, When a user creates a Page with a title that matches one of the suggestions, I want that Suggestion to be automatically unpublished.

So the steps are:

WHEN...
Page is created

IF...
Title of created Page equals title of existing Suggestion

THEN...
Unpublish existing Suggestion

Using rules to help build catalog (price range comparison)

First of all, thank you for this module. I just discovered it today while trying to find a solution for my problem and it looks really useful.

My problem is this:
I need to set a term to a product when the product has a price within a certain range. I need to have it update this term should the user update the price. This seems simple to me using this module, but for some reason the rule I have built does not function.

My rule is set up as follows:
ON
After updating existing content
IF
Saved content is product
AND
Numeric comparison (explained below)
DO
Load a term (0-399)

Use Rules to Unpublish content based on Author's role

I've been trying to find a way to use the Rules module to unpublish all of an author's nodes if his/her role is changed to a non-author role. But I'm having trouble finding the right variables in the rules module.

Anyone have any advice on how to go about getting this set up?

How to send email to the referenced user in a node

Is it possible to use Rules to send an email to a user referenced in the node, not the node author? I've been struggling and searching and can't find the answer or a solution.

Openlayers + Rules. Anyone done it? Any guidelines?

New to Openlayers, OL Proximity, and Rules. They all seem to be working.

Would like to notify users when nodes are published / updated based on geographic proximity, i.e. node is published with a location within 50 miles of a user. It is for a missing pet web site.

Anyone with experience integrating the two? Am going to try to figure out today. Thanks.
