Welcome to the Seattle Users' Group!
This is a geographic Drupal User Group meant primarily for planning local Drupal related events and meetups, and supporting users locally.
SeaDUG meets regularly (at least once a month officially) to talk about Drupal, to plan Drupal events, and to socialize. During SeaDUG meetings we showcase modules and projects, share tips and tricks, and answer nagging questions about Drupal.
There is also an online front-end meeting that takes place on the first Tuesday of the month at noon Pacific Time. It's not always posted here, but information about it can be found in the front-enders channel in the SeaDUG Slack workspace.
PLEASE do not post job offers in this group unless they are local to Seattle. Any job posted to this group that is not in the Seattle/Puget Sound Metropolitan Area will be promptly removed.

SeaDUG Front-End Meeting (7/3/18)
This will be the first in a series of online meetings for SeaDUG members who are interested in theming in Drupal and front-end development in general.
We'll spend about half the time talking about what participants want to get out of these meetings and how they should be organized. Then let's discuss asset libraries in Drupal 8—how to define, extend, override, and employ them.

PNW Drupal Summit 2019 Discussion
Since DrupalCon will be in Seattle in 2019, we need to decide what we're going to do for the Pacific Northwest Drupal Summit, which is also supposed to be in Seattle a few months prior. Let's meet at Serious Pie on Westlake at 5pm on Tuesday, June 26, and discuss the options.

PNW Drupal Summit 2019
The PNW Drupal Summit recently took place in Portland and is scheduled to come to Seattle next. This event is a volunteer led and produced conference to promote Drupal and the Drupal community in the Pacific Northwest.
This post will be updated as more information about the next conference becomes available.
Volunteers are what make the Summit happen and volunteering is a ton of fun. We use Basecamp to manage the organization and production of the Summit and if you would like to volunteer please leave a comment here to be added to Basecamp.
