Bug: different divs/ids for registered and anonymous users
Hi guys,
Divs/ids for registered and anonymous users differ in some places that changes same page look and requires additional time to play with CSS. One of the places I wonder how to fix the right way is blocks on the homepage. There is between blocks space that defined as .context-block { padding-bottom: 10px; }. So there is space in case of registered user and then it dissapeares ones you logged out. Please see fragments of html code below (OP 2.2).
Will appreciate your help,
Thank you,
Gennady

Read moreCan't get panels to properly replace the homepage
I'm trying to create a page from panels to replace the homepage of my OP 2.3 site.
I have renamed the page-front.tpl.php in my sub-theme and the original openpublish theme folders and then flushed all my cache theme registry. But, for whatever reason, the 3-column layout of the original frontpage remains (the 2 vertical dividers are present) and the panel page attempts to squeeze its entire page content into the left column.
As a test, I make /node, the frontpage designation, and navigate to /frontpage, the panel page, and /frontpage dispaly as I intended.
Read morePrimary Links - Mega Menu Drop-Down - 1. Possible? 2. Tutorial (?)
I'm really looking for a good way to make mega menu dropdowns. Is there a good module for this? It would be GREAT if someone could produce a step-by-step tutorial on how to do this within the OpenPublish framework.
- I've tried with MiniPanels, but can't figure out where to put the qtip library. Doesn't work for me. Help (?)
Right now I have a mega menu produced "On top of content" but I really want the menu to be in the primary links section.
Could really use some guidance.
Thanks
Read morePrimary links menu block suddenly got larger
Hi
Not sure how t happened but after I added some extra modules (location and calendar) the block that contains the primary links menu expanded from 45 to 123 (firebug).
I am using a submenu based on openpublish-theme. If I have empty files under the css in the submenu it stays the same size. If I go back to the openpublish theme then everything goes back to normal.
I can get round it by putting top.-50px; in the css for nav but would prefer to find the source of the problem and correct it there.
Any thoughts anyone, and please be gentle if the answer is really obvious.
Read moreNavigation Menu Setup
I want to include sub-navigation menus in the right sidebar of my site. It doesn't appear that OpenPublish is setup to easily do this with its CSS. Can someone help me out? Recommend a module or CSS style?
I would really like to have the sidebar menu to reflect the same styling as the "Most Commented" type boxes.
Read moreFront page center column has nothing in it?
I wonder if I a missing something from page-front.tpl.php? I read a lot here about a center column in the front page context, but I don't see any way to get blocks or anything else in there. Is this the content region in edit/context?
In short, I want to clone the front page to add a block views to the center, but don't know how best to do it. This raises the general question for me whether context or panels would be better for the front page anyway, but that is another discussion.
This is all I see in page-front.tpl.php about regions:

Read moreDouble question marks in Article content type about the author field?
Perhaps the answer is obvious, but after searching around several times over several days, I still can't figure out where the double question marks come from in my About the Author area on a page created by the Article content type. I'd love to get rid of them, but I don't see what might be creating them in node-article.tpl.php.
It would seem to me that it would be in this code:
<?php
print format_plural($plural, 'About the Author', 'About *the Authors');
?>
<?php
print format_plural($plural, 'About the Author', 'About *the Authors');
?>
Anyone have another idea for me to try?
