I am using OpenPublish 2.2 and I would added some child links under the Home link in the primary menu system. What I found is that the Home link is not marked active by the system when I am on the front page, so the "on" class isn't added to that link, so the child links aren't displayed unless you hover over the link. I would like them to show by default. I know that the main menu system is controlled by openpublish-menu.tpl.php in sites/all/modules/openpublish_core/openpublish_menu. This is the code that appears there:

I'm new with Drupal and OpenPublish. I want to change the detail page for a node (e.g. remove the Login/Comment message for an article or add the original URL for a feed item), but I don't know how to do this. I did the following:
* created a new view (with Block and Page), added the fields and the live preview gives the output that I want)
* put the new view in the context that needs it

However, it doesn't return the right output in the detailpage.

I am running into an issue where, when I publish articles to my site, I am getting the teaser for the article showing in a block in the left column. When I publish the next article that article's teaser replaces the previous, and the previous one does not show anywhere on the page anymore. I have checked that I have the front page set to show 10 items, but nothing populates into the main content of the front page.

Does anyone have any tips on how to fix it?

I need to fix whatever governs the "Articles by this author" view on the Author page (OP 1.7).

If you take a look at the screenshot that I have attached, there are a number of problems with this panel (e.g. spelling of "'aritcles' by this author", wrong article title font-style, css code is showing, nid shows, etc...), but I don't know where I need to go to fix this.

I've looked for a Panel page, couldn't find it. I've looked for a view, but didn't see the misspelt "aritcle". I've looked for a view template file, but still couldn't find it.

I'm interested in using the OP theme with a stock version of Drupal. In other words, I'm not interested in OP functionality, simply the theme's design. What OP components do I need to retain for the OP theme to work?

I am trying to make unique section front pages to replace the article landing pages as a I develop my site.
This is important for user-friendliness, as well as monetizing the site.
A funeral home might want the ability to advertise on the obituary page but not the sports page. A loud sports bar advertisement might not work so well on the obituary page.
But right now, the way I have the site set up, there really isn't a way to differentiate between the various section landing pages.

I am very very new to Drupal and am switching over from a pure XHTML/CSS site I have been working on. I am running into an issue where, when I am uploading a main image for an article, my copy of the image is 200x275px, however, the one that is displayed on the front page and in the article itself are double that size. I suspect I am just missing something very obvious, but can someone help me figure out what that something is? Cheers.

I am after some help and/or guidance for changing my Drupal 6 site to Openpublish. I have had a site online for two years now http://www.mylocalelectrician.co.uk which uses Drupal and I am more than happy with the site! Now that I seen what Openpublish has to offer I feel that this would be the better option for me now.

What I am after doing is to create a configured / default theme that I can use across my network of online magazine's for the trade. Basicly so I can just upload the relevant Logo, change the menu names and maybe the colour scheme.

I've found some posts in this group from March indicating that there was an OpenPublish training session at DrupalCon SF. Does anyone know if this session was videotaped, audio recorded or had presentation materials? I am particularly trying to understand:

• The role and use of the many Taxonomy vocabularies in OP.
• How to add new Features (i.e., content type and views and vocabulary for new functionality) to OP.

I'm trying to theme a new content type. I have the node-movie.tpl.php file. I want to display the contents of my field_theater CCK entry. I try the following, but just get a blank:

However, if I try to display the node's title, using the same line, the node's title displays. What am I missing?
