I had just installed OpenPublish and was enabling many modules at once.

I have successfully updated Drupal core previously by deleting and replacing all folders and files except the 'sites' folder.

I have installed OpenPublish today and tried the same approach with to update Drupal core from 7.16 to 7.17.

When I initiate update.php I get the following warnings:

Notice: Undefined index: highlighted in include() (line 126 of C:\wamp\www\example.net.au\openpublish\modules\system\page.tpl.php).
Notice: Undefined index: sidebar_first in include() (line 138 of C:\wamp\www\example.net.au\openpublish\modules\system\page.tpl.php).

Phones are becoming more and more important.

If there's a fire, I want to be able to type a few graphs on my phone and post it - along with photos or even audio taken on my phone.
It's very difficult to post a story. It's impossible, as far as I can tell, to upload a photo.

More and more often, news organizations are relying on user-generated content.

OP needs to recognize this and allow users to add photos to galleries, or even to post news tips or neighborhood news, using their mobile technology.

With the new update, I've lost my ability to edit blocks and contexts right on the page.
Does anyone know how I might turn these functions back on?

I am able to create new content types with the plupload widget that allows for multiple uploads. But I can't seem to find a way to integrate plupload with the existing OP Photo gallery...

As it exists, the photo gallery isn't much use as it is far too time consuming if you have more than 5 or 6 pictures.

It appears that one is not apple to change the widget on the existing op photo galleries content uploader as the entry is written into the code.

If I created a new gallery, what would I need to do to make the gallery employ the very nice photo gallery used in Gazette's theme?

I am playing with the new OP 3 beta2 and I'm trying to figure out how to get content to display on section fronts.

I've created section front content (Home page, News and Sports fronts), and I have associated the News front with the News section taxonomy and the Sports front with the Sports section taxonomy, but when I create Sports content and assign it to the Sports section, it does not appear in the Sports front.

I know I'm missing something obvious, but I can't seem to figure it out yet. Can someone point out what I'm missing?

Hi, I am working with OP 3.0.
As installed, OP groups all OP content (blogs, articles, polls, galleries, videos, events) into the same catchall "content" grouping. So therefore, they all just stack on top of eachother in the same context block.

I want to separate them all into their own blocks and place them in different places around the front page, there are no views for this.
How do I go about this?

I am getting into OP 3.0 and I just wanted to point out that the gallery content is cumbersome because we can only upload one photo at a time.
Are there plans to change this?
Also, how would one go about configuring the gallery with a slider or slideshow?

I installed D7 OpenPublish alpha9 and only see one (1) app.

Where are the other apps? How to get more apps? Should I have installed OpenPublish on D7?

Does OP3.x has "issue" content type that was in OP2.x. With publishing schedule, etc... I do not seem to find how to publish and manage an 8-page weekly newsletter.
