Context and related
I've noticed that the Author Information is not showing at the bottom of "blog" and "article" content. In OP1.5 it showed. When I looked at the Contexts, I found that Author Information is not there.
Then I tried to add it, but didn't show up on the node. I tested by adding "Who's Online" block at the end of a blog/article, and it works.
Any clue as to why Author Information is not being added? How do I add that? Thanks in advance.

I am fairly new to Drupal as well, and have experienced my share of problems, as evidenced by my posts in these groups, but now that I've been playing with it for a few days, I really like it!
Some of the little things have been fixed, for example, photos now show captions and photo credits -- thanks irakli :) and the search label finally aligns properly with the box.
Read moreHow to create video that overlays the page?
I saw a feature on a TV news station site that basically was a video of a woman and her daughter talking. It was green-screened and laid over the main news page. It was a 10 sec spot highlighting something in the community. Sorry, I can't seem to find the site.
Is there a module built that can allow me to do something like that?
Thanks.

Thanks to those who have assembled this Drupal package, as this rich semantic information framework has impressive possibilities.
I've to conceed, I'm not a developper nor a tech-geek, but a french journalist (excuse my poor english writing knowledge). My interest in Openpublish is driven 'cause it's close to main needs of a digital publication and, go hundred steps farther.
I've tried to put hands on OP 1.5-309 with a very few results. For yesterday, I've installed and tried to customize OP 1.6-357, and it's really interesting, even amazing in some ways.
Read moreFront page news rotator for OpenPublish
I would like to submit all the custom code I used to integrate the front page news rotator that I'm using. It took me a couple days to set it up. It would include the custom css to fit the openpublish template, a CCK content type which I can export, a view which I can export, and instruction how to add the code to page.tpl.php and openpublish.info to create a new region.
Read moreThings that I would like OpenPublish to do.
I have been posting the the support section of OpenPublish but now that I see people are active here, will join this discussion.
There are some little things that I think that open publish should do.
-
Within a taxonomy category, there should be links on the page to the next article or previous article within the taxonomy of the current article.
-
The process of implementing H3 tag links on the front page should be clearly explained. It looks like a ton of work finding block ids and views ids and creating view.tpl files.
Image handling in OP
I know this is an issue with Drupal as a whole, but shouldn't a news website solution address the issue of handling multiple photos, captions and photo credits for each article node out of the box?
Anyone have an easy solution?
Thank you.
Read moreCan someone explain how to use some of the features?
I've been playing with the OpenPublish distribution for a while now off and on and really like its potential, but all of the documentation or tutorials I've seen so far barely explain its features. For example, when utilizing Google video or Yahoo Boss with Calais, I know I can raise the relevance setting to filter out unrelated content, but is there a way to manually exclude content from those sources? It's great to have that extra content when it pulls up relevant content, but it looks really bad to have unrelated content (the same name, different person) shows up.
Read moreWhat's REALLY needed in OpenPublish: A final WYSIWYG solution!
Currently, OpenPublish comes with the Apture module, which is a very tantalizing almost solution to a problem that we all have struggled with: a legit wysiwyg solution that allows embedding of images and other content within a wysiwyg editor while allowing uploading of content from a user's computer or linking from remote urls. Apture does this in a clean, almost magical way.
