New office in Downtown Jacksonville looking for a couple entry level Drupal devs.
Our company has a cool and unique concept - Headquartered in the UK (Stirling, Scotland), we are launching "digital escape hubs" all around the globe so that our staff can travel the world on sponsored visas and have an office to work out of. Our first hub is officially up and running in downtown Jacksonville, FL and in 1 month, our second will be open in São Paulo, Brazil. Next stop from there... New Zealand or the Caribbean.

We had our sixth meetup this past Tuesday to great success. We had 13 members show up this time and had Andrew Riley come up from Orlando to give his presentation on Intro to Git.

We also had a successful Google Hangout Broadcast of the presentation to YouTube. We may want to consider doing the presentation via Google Hangouts but possibly the entire meeting and then we can draw comments from YouTube. We had 3-4 viewers on YouTube and some discussion on the comments which was great to see.

Trying to come up with a speaker or topic for our August meetup of the Jacksonville user group. We've had one volunteer to do some views work and also some users wanting to learn more about varnish and performance tuning. Anyone want to volunteer for August or another month or have ideas for other topics cover?

August: Git with Andrew Riley

I"m really excited about the Drupal Camp coming up in February but unfortunately won't be able attend as some other events are already scheduled for that weekend. I'm wondering if anyone would be interested in a Drupal users meetup in Jacksonville at some point? I can take care of arranging but just want to gauge interest to see talk and meet the Drupal community in Jacksonville and the surrounding areas.

DrupalDuval is a new community group that encourages Drupal users, developers and designers based on North Florida to collaborate and discuss about Drupal related topics and projects.
