Please help me with Services

Hello everybody! I am flash-developer and total newbi to Drupal. I have book "Flash with Drupal" by Travis Tidwell and I want to learn to develop flash apps with Drupal as back-end. So I installed Drupal 6.26 then several modules. So I have installed Chaos CTools 6.x-1.9, flashNode (6.x-3.1), Services (6.x-3.1), AMFPHP (6.x-1.0-beta2) and Views (6.x-2.16). I did all like was in the book, and everything was OK, no Error messages etc, but after installing Services, I’ve found in this module no services (in the book there was File service, menu service, node service etc).

interchange data with flex/flash

we are a drupal developer and a flex/flash developer working ad-hoc on a mutual project, where data needs to be sent back and forth between drupal and a flash application.

requirements :

ul>

  • the flash application lets the user to visually create a complex pattern, that is stored internally in a flex structure.
  • users may save their creations along with some information (name, email, private/public, etc.)
  • users may retrieve their own creations to a sort-of gallery (a player copy of the above application), select one and keep on editing it.

    CCK only saving first character

    I am inserting some data into nodes via a Flash application using SWX PHP (It's very like AMFPHP). All works well apart from the CCK fields. I'm having a massive problem trying to insert more than one character (the first character) into any CCK textfield. I believe this is because I haven't got the right formatting in my Flash AS2 code, but feel like I've tried every combination of Objects and Arrays to get it to work... to no avail :(

    What should the format be? All the other normal node fields insert fine...
