Getting Error: "Gallery2 must be installed under the same document root as Drupal"

My Drupal site is installed under http://www.mysite.com/.
My gallery site is installed in http://www.mysite.com/gallery2/

When attempting to configure G2Drupal I keep getting the following error message "Gallery2 must be installed under the same document root as Drupal".

I've tried to input my actual server path in "Gallery2 Server Path" of the configuration page as follows /home/content/55/5555555555/html/gallery2/ but to no avail.

Please help

Random background in Acquia Slate

Hello! I am the proud user of Acquia slate and was wondering if I could somehow rotate the background of the front page on a refresh. Would I use a PHP script with a bunch of images in a directory, or can I use gallery2, which I've already set up.

The web addresses are here:

Drupal site: http://www.claudebing.com
Gallery site: http://gallery.claudebing.com

The album "Backgrounds (Rotating)" is the album of images I want to use on the front page. They're already all the same size and dimensions. Any hints?

FiveStars & Gallery2

Hi all !

First, let me say that I'm absolutely sorry if the current post should not be posted here...

I'm about to use Gallery2. Previously I've created galleries using Viewfield, Image, NAT and Views modules. In fact my problem is that I need to add extrafields to galleries (means that a gallery must probably be a node). And i need screw FiveStars & Voting API on images.

So my question : is it possible with Gallery2 or Not ?

Thanks a lot !

Maxime

Plans for Gallery2 Integration in 2008

I think we made a nice step forward with the release of 5.x-2.x in November 2007. However, there is still a lot of work to be done. I cant provide a schedule for gallery module, but I can give you an overview of things I plan to tackle in the next months.

BTW: There are still (almost) no people helping out with documentation and support. Dozens of sites are running G2 with Drupal, but it looks like nobody really feels connected to the spirit of the community enough to contribute :(

We need your help ...

At the moment we are (at most) 1 1/2 people working on the gallery module and its affiliates. Thats not a problem per se (for example it allows us to make major changes and rapid progress without lengthy discussions), but there is little time left to answer all requests submitted to the issues queue. Also the G2 integration forums are almost unsupported because of our limited resources and we still dont have a basic documentation online in the G2 codex.

Gallery2 CCK-field with Embedded-Media-Field

Hello,

I wounder if someone has already ported the Embedded-Media-Field to Gallery2?
http://drupal.org/project/emfield

Background information:
The emfield is a cck-field to integrate media types like images from providers like Picasa, Flickr, ..
or videos from youtube, myspace, ..
There are two integration types: as reference or import.

The emfield provides an API to embed further providers

My Idea:
Interprete Gallery2 as provider.
After porting the emfield to Gallery2 it should be possible to reference the images and thumbs
from the local installed gallery.

Gallery package 5.x-2.0 released

I just tagged an official release for the new 5.x-2.x series of gallery module after almost 7 months of development and testing. You can download the module and read the release notes at http://drupal.org/node/194709. I'd really love to receive feedback on the new design and functionality, so please comment here.
