Other than enabling the eC Recurring module, what is necessary to enable the Allow recurring payments option for PayPal? That option is disabled for me at admin/ecsettings/rtypes/paypal_basic.

I've created a Membership product type, named Membership. However, this product type does not show as an available product type when creating a Product. Only the Non-Shippable and Shippable product types are displayed. What have I done wrong?

When I decided I wanted to create a membership site, I realized that Drupal and and the e-Commerce module could probably do what I needed. The membership site will be selling content on a monthly basis. Users that subscribe during a given month will have access to that month's content.

I figured the easiest way to do this would be to use some sort of access control to assign a role -- for example, "200712" -- to a particular node. Then any subscriber with the appropriate role could access that content.

I have a group of artists that are promoted by one manager. I want them to sign up on the manager's site (a drupal core site) and be able to create their own music stores (upon getting the right permissions).

These individual stores will be selling downloads (music, videos, screen savers) all media will have a preview, (audio & video with a 1 min clip; screen savers with a thumbnail)

Each artist will have their own paypal or payment gateway associated with their store, and a subdomain or url like website.com/artistname or artistname.website.com

We are launching the Alpha versions of e-Commerce, but we should continually seek improvements on eC.

So, we are gradually increasing the content on our new site and i created a poll to give us a direction. You can choose what should be the focus of eC dev team. Among the options, "visual improvement", "bug-free first", "business " and "site admin driven pages", "user" and "developer documentation" and "general improvements". Help the eC development!

Op dit moment ben ik voor een project de mogelijkheden aan het bekijken van e-commerce icm Drupal. Nu zijn er al diverse ontwikkelingen gaande qua e-commerce modules en enkele payment gateways. Voorbeelden hiervan zijn e-commerce module, Quickfile, Ubercart, ProtX Payment Gateway, La Caixa payment gateway, E-Commerce PayFlow Pro

Over the next couple of week I am going to be starting to release some screen casts for e-Commerce. These will be based on v4 and above. First I am going to be doing a small screen cast on how to install e-Commerce, and then beyond that I will see.

I finished this today proper stock control from e-Commerce. It has all the features that I want and should stop sites from overselling products.

The list of features are:

• Temporary stock allocation
• Checking of stock allocations to make sure they are not over allocated.
• Stock reservations for items that have been sold, but not yet shipped.
• Reversal of stock committing when a transaction is canceled.

Also I forgot to add that I have started adding the affiliates/commission system so that people can start paying referring parties for sales. And the way that it has been created the method of building the commissions to be a pluggable hook system so you can build anyway you want to give credit to people.

There is no payment system yet, but this will come soon, and can be implemented into any payment gateway. To start with it will be PayPal, but others can be done, and even systems like printing cheques can be supported.

Well I have dropped another alpha, and I have gotten the same issue submitted again.
