Help wanted - Class List

e-Commerce over the last month or so has been under heavy development for v4, and in the area of products there has been some good development in the area of products with the implementation of product features.

Product features is sort of like CCK fields for product types. So instead of having a monolithic product which does everything from inventory and shipping, we can now just build a feature which can be added to any product types (even the old monolithic products).

Need PHP help

I'm currently working on a site for a client. I do my work for him in trade for credit against what he sells so no money is exchanged.
I'm terrible with PHP (read, I know nothing about it). I could really use some help with a request he made of me and was hoping someone here might volunteer some time. I'd be glad to pass some credit along to you for your time if you like inverts of any sort.

New payment module - how to contribute? How to migrate to D5?

Hope this is the right place to ask.

I have a drupal 4.7 payment module created for interwallet. I want to migrate it to Drupal 5 and contribute it back to the community.

I have the following questions:

  1. Is there a difference between Drupal 4.7 and Drupal 5 payment API?
  2. Is the module supposed to work as-is, after a standard Drupal 5 module migration process, or are there any other changes I need to make?
  3. Where to put it when I contribute it? Should I put it under the 'contrib' subdirectory of the e-commerce package? Or should I make it a separate drupal module?

Q: Payment Method Displayed on Invoice?

I am having a little trouble solving a problem and would like to pick the brains of the e-commerce experts ;-)

First off I using Drupal 4.7

Ecommerce version is 2.1

As my clients do not process credit cards online, they use the COD payment type to complete the transaction and then contact the purchaser to finalize payment. They also have a Onfile payment type which I created which is just a clone of the COD Module so purchasers can indicate that they want to use a credit card that the site has on file.

Configuring subproducts and shipping

Hello:

I'm trying to figure out the best way to configure subproducts and simple shipping. I've enabled subproducts and simple shipping (flexicharge). I'm going to use shippable, tangible, 'table' products as an analogy of what I'm trying to do:

  • Tables
    -- pine dining table
    ---- 4' x 2'
    ---- 4' x 3'
    ---- 5' x 4'
    -- stainless steel dining table
    ---- 3' x 2'
    ---- 4' x 4'
    -- teak desk
    ---- 3' x 2'

Adding comments/details/designation to e-commerce donation

I have E-Commerce 5.x-3.0 running in Drupal 5.1 where I have projects setup where people can donate toward the projects I have setup with target 'goal' prices, but I need the ability for them to either:

a) have a field in the checkout where they can designate what component of the project they want to donate towards
b) utilize the subproduct module to allow users to literally pick a component of the project and add it to the shopping cart

I tried doing this with the existing subproduct module, but it is uniquely designed to interact with physical products such as apparel.
