I have just released rc6 http://drupal.org/node/446142 and it is getting better and better. ATM I am releasing a new RC every 7-10 days, mainly because I am actively deploying new sites to my own clients and it is much easier to do than loading on devs, and the following conversations that I will end up having.
Read moree-Commerce charges
I have done quite a bit of work over the past few days and I have gotten the new charge system working really great. In actual fact I think that it is working better than I ever imagined.
ATM I have not built all the componets that I want to build, but it is still kicking butt. Also remember this new charging system that has been built replaces shipping, discounts, tax modules and is all pretty much just point and click to build new charges.

Hi,
With the release of the first RC for e-Commerce 4.0 I am looking to run training here in Melbourne Aust.
I am thinking that this will be a 2-3 day training coarse which will cover the installation of e-Commerce and configuration of e-Commerce, the laying out your the site with theming and development of views. Integration into your current workflow, and integration into existing system (Using the API), how to build a payment gateway etc.

e-Commerce 4.0 is now feature complete. Other than just doing the final clean ups and writting more of the standard extensions to modules like adding more filters to ec_charge, or some more product features. Since this is the case this is going to be the final BETA and if there are no major issues I will be releasing the first release candidate in the next week or so.

So, I made it to the last few minutes of the Churches and Ubercart BoF at Drupalcon DC and may not have the full picture on what was discussed. As such, I'm going to use this thread to just spec. out what I see as the desired solution for enabling church websites (and other non-profit organizations) to take donations online. It seemed like the folks in the BoF were willing to get behind a proposal, fund it, and start implementing it on their various sites.

With the the new e-Commerce I am currently intergration the store with the rules module so that the workflow can be easily altered and customize for meet the needs of the store owner.
Basically e-Commerce should not dictate how the store owner runs their business, but facilitate the running of their business.
But to start off with we will need to provide a default workflow which will allow someone who is not 100% sure to run without too many issues.

I was wondering if someone would be kind enough to create a static template that could serve to be the default invoice template for the e-Commerce release.
This doesn't have to be in drupal or have any PHP in it, I just need the html and css for an invoice template that can be used to create the default view of the template.
This will mean that people can take this template and create their own template. I would like this to be a CSS based layout, and it can be fixed width because ultimately it will be used to create PDF versions and also be able to print to create hard copy.

Regards.
I've been asked about this possibility: create a site containing a product list. This is the easy part. The difficult part is having everytime a PDF copy of this product list, that is having an up-to-date printable catalog, with cover and all that.
You get the point? Instead of having a printed catalog and a dude updating the website stuff, we only keep updated the website's product list and generate a new version of the catalog, including cover and other stuff, pressing "click" somewhere in the website.
