Profile image galleries feeding community galleries
Ok, I am outside of my element on this one. I am working on a project where I have created custom profiles with advanced profile kit and I have added a gallery using CCK Image. I am creating separate galleries BUT these galleries will be fed from the profile gallery images. Basically all I need is for the user to have a dropdown where they select the gallery they want their image to show up in. I figured I could do this with taxonomy or something like it. Any ideas of a module combo that would allow me to do this?

I'm making an article/story content type with CCK and I have it looking the way I want it to but a dilemma has arisen: how do you hide fields that are styled with CSS when no data is entered. In my specific situation, an article contains all the fields needed (headline, byline, text) but no image is imputed.
I have images styled so that they float to the left and the text will wrap around (similar to the way it would in usatoday.com). But if no image is uploaded, the styling is still visible and leaves an awkward space where it would have been. See the screen shots below.

Hi all, by way of intro I have been sitting on the side of this group for a month or two now watching for some events to attend to build my knowledge of Drupal. I am a long time web developer and web manager in Brisbane (currently working in a customer experience management role) and have only recently discovered Drupal, but I think it's very exciting as a platform for building complex sites.
Read moreFull-Size Images in Articles and Lightbox
The Article content type accommodates an image and its thumbnail. If the full-size image is larger than the width of the image <div> on the full node Article page, the image is cropped. I would have expected an imagecache pre-set to be applied to reduce the image to the proper width or height as applicable. I also would have expected a click on the image to open a Lightbox of the full-size image or some other imagecache pre-set. Can this functionality be accomplished with OP 2.1 or OP 2.2 (which I have not yet installed)?
Thanks.

I'm running Open Publish version 2.0 and everything was working Okay until last week.
Now suddenly all the story Images and profile picture images on the website have disappeared. I have checked the permissions on files folder to be correct. The images are present in the files folder, just not showing up in the linked stories. I tried uploading new images, flushing image cache, clearing cache - nothing works.
Read morebasic question about directory usage
I'm at the beginning of a long learning curve on Drupal, with this question today.
My site will use a variety of photos and graphics. Is there any standard practice for where to locate these items? I'm assuming that creating a directory or two under /sites/all would be logical. That would give me
/sites/all
/modules
/themes
/photos
/graphics
/videos ....etc.
Read more Multiple header images
Hi,
I am new to Drupal and Zen and am looking for some help with the header. My header has a background image and three transparent .pngs that I want to add on top. I have tried adding new divs in the css with background images and that didn't work as well as creating the css for the new divs and adding the images in the .php.. The best I got was the missing image icon.
Thanks!
Read moreBrowsing, insertion, creation of images in wysiwyg editor - the present and future
What's the best way, now and for the future, to insert images which are nodes into an article with a wysiwyg editor, allowing both browsing and uploading within the editor? Ideally the image browser is a view, the image content type is my homemade beast, the upload form is just a node creation form, and video (well ideally any asset) could be inserted in the same way. I'd also like to be able to pull any necessary data (eg copyright) from the image node.
