Meetup

Hi all-

Since nobody else has scheduled a meetup recently I figured I'd put one on the board. For now I'll say it will be held at Zivtech Headquarters, but feel free to change that to someplace else if there's an objection.

Anyway, as usual, we'll have beer and pizza (and feel free to bring more beer). I'm thinking we should talk about DrupalCon CPH, Drupal 7 (which may be fully baked at that point, at the very least it will be in beta), and maybe start planning for Drupaldelphia 2011.

As much fun as the downtown Philly Drupal meetups are, not everyone who lives in the suburbs can make it down for the evening, so lets get the suburbs Drupal crowd together too! Sly Fox Brewhouse in Phoenxiville is convenient to Chester and Montgomery Counties, and reasonably convenient to Delaware and Bucks. Plus they have good food and good local beer.

Come join your fine fellow Philly Drupalers for our regular meetup! We'll be talking Drupal, showing off work, stumping chumps, and helping any newbies get better oriented in Drupal. We'll be meeting at Zivtech HQ, located at 32 S. Strawberry St. in Old City (near 2nd and Chestnut). As usual, we'll provide some beer/soda (feel free to bring more) and pizza.

I think the format we had last time was basically good: Drupal beginners can break off into a separate group to get some beginner direction and more advanced people can use the projector to show off nifty things. Meanwhile we'll drink some beers and eat pizza.

Topic: General discussion of what you are working on - come get input or help from fellow Drupal users. Show everyone your site or your code or talk about the challenges you are facing.

IAS is a short distance from Mercer Street. See here - http://www.ias.edu/about/directions - for directions and a campus map. For those who are familiar with Princeton University, we are basically on the other side of the golf course. It is a little over a mile from the train station, so walkable. For those coming by car, park in Lot A. There should be plenty of parking in the evening.
