Philly Area CiviCRM Meetup

Come to the inaugural Philadelphia-area meetup of current and prospective CiviCRM users! We’ll look at new features from the current betas, and have time for general sharing & problem solving.
The event will be hosted by American Friends Service Committee.
March Drupal Meetup at Zivtech
Hope it's not too soon to have another meetup. We received good feedback about the last one and some requests for another so here it is. Tuesday March 15th at the Zivtech office. 32 Strawberry Street. Philadelphia. As always pizza and some beer will be provided. More beer is strongly encouraged. Let us know if you are coming and would like to present. Beginners are always welcome and we're happy to run a beginner group.

Hello Everyone,
I have not been able to make it to a meetup since the suburban meetup in Phoenixville. Life often gets in the way of Drupal.
Recently I have begun to read and read and read some more about D7 module development. Often my eyes cross, I scratch my head and say WTF. Maybe some of you are experiencing the same thing?
I am not a coder by profession or trade so Drupal concepts often take me longer to learn than most. The Drupal meetups are great but I am just not wired to learning in that environment.(I like to socialize a little to much.)

The Code for America Philly Team wants to invite you to join us in making Philadelphia a better place. We're seven tech geeks that are looking at how Philly works and finding ways to use technology to improve it. We want to wrangle other Philadelphians interested in open data and civic tech to help us in this endeavor. At the labs days, people from the city government and the community come together, learn from each other, pitch small projects to work on, break into teams, and accomplish awesome stuff.

Read moreLooking for Drupal presenters for Meetup this Wednesday
Hi everyone,
If you build Drupal sites, I'd like to invite you to share any strategies you have implemented through a short (non-technical) presentation at this Wednesday's meetup.
http://www.meetup.com/drupaldelphia/events/16334379/
The idea is to give people who have Drupal sites -- or are thinking of building Drupal sites -- a sense of what's possible and ideas of different things they can do with Drupal to help their business or nonprofit.
Presentations should be under ten minutes.

February Drupal Meetup at Zivtech
It's been some time since the last meetup and the Zivtech crew was thinking we'd get the ball rolling on the next one. Unless there are objections we'll have it at our office where we provide pizza and beer (but don't be shy about bringing more beer). The general topic of discussion will be Drupal 7.

Drupal Meetup for Drupal Freelancers/Small Shops
I would like to invite any Drupal Freelancers (or those who run or work in small shops) for a meet up to discuss ways to collaborate, support one-another, and also refer one another work.
I've been a freelance Drupal developer for about 5 years now and the demand for work far exceeds my capacity. I'm thinking that Drupal Freelancers in the area might be able to form some type of collaborative, where we can help one another when too busy and find others ways to support one-another.

The Zivtech Crew invites you to our annual holiday shindig- and this year we'll also be celebrating something we're extremely excited about: the imminent release of Drupal 7.
If that's not exciting enough, we'll have music, beer, food, and plenty of bad mamma-jamma-jawns (no idea what it is, but it sounds dangerous, though I promise it's semi-kid-friendly). Also, Rock Band playing shall be plentiful, and our winch will be in full effect.
