The Des Moines Web Geeks group is having a social event this Tuesday the 5th at 7pm in Des Moines. Michael and I will be attending and giving a short lightning talk about the Drupal Corn Drupal Camp coming up. Looks like it will be an interesting networking opportunity.

UPDATE: The DrupalCorn social planned for September 26 at the London Underground has been CANCELLED. We'll see you at the October 24 user group meeting.

Who should attend?

We are encouraging experienced web developers who are looking to increase their knowledge on Drupal. We will be focusing on major concepts and best practices while acknowledging your existing skills. This is not for the newbie developer, this is a big meal we are offering.

It's not like me but I've gotten ahead of myself. I am now posting a notice for a meeting that is not until late August. School will be back in session. And the university students will have returned with all their infections. hehe.

John Rearick has graciously volunteer to talk about SEO. This is a deep topic of great importance that is more often an after thought then properly thought out and incorporated as part of the development/content creation cycle.
