Drupal 8 Play Date (Sept 26)
Drupal 8 is almost ready! For a few moments (last week), we were down to only 3 critical issues. Since then the number has bumped back up into the teens. But with DrupalCon Barcelona coming next week, the chances are very good that we'll see some significant movement - with a release candidate in the very near future!
Let's celebrate by having a hands-on PLAY DATE with DRUPAL EIGHT.
This will be a great opportunity for beginners and advanced coders alike to get an introduction to Drupal 8 and start setting up a site of their own.

Plan to attend this session by Michael Hofmockel from Iowa State University and co-leader of the Central Iowa Drupal User group. Noon to 1:00 p.m. at the Iowa Utility Board Offices in Conference Room 1. The Utility Board is located at 1375 E. Court Avenue. Parking is available in the lots to the west and north of the building.
