With yesterday's release of Drupal 8 RC 1, we're pressing ahead quickly with a version of aGov for Drupal 8. We've just completed the port of the aGov 3 theme, and plan to have a release on https://www.drupal.org/project/agov by the end of October.
This will mean that Government organisations looking to move to Drupal 8 will be able to do so with the ease of installing a regular aGov site.
As part of the release, we'll be running a beta program for anyone that wants to test the release and be involved in structured feedback sessions, so please sign up via https://agov.com.au/updates

Not as much general activity here in GDO/aus these days, so thought it might be good to get a bit of an update out there on what's going on about the place...
There was a camp in Byron bay last month, one planned for Sydney in a couple of weeks I believe, and I've heard a compelling rumour that something is afoot in Melbourne for late in the year.
Regular meetups happening around the place, and some new players popping up around the place.
Are we all flat out busy?
Have people started building with Drupal8?
Anyone heading to Drupalcon Barcelona? (I am!)
