DrupalGov Canberra is a day-long summit on Drupal in the public sector in Australia, including government and public-sector agencies. It's also suitable for universities and non-government organisations as well.
With sessions on a range of relevant topics, suitable for all levels of experience and right across the spectrum of web project delivery, we're hoping the DrupalGov will be the number one event for public sector Drupal learning, professional development, networking and knowledge sharing.

DrupalGov Canberra is a day-long summit on Drupal in the public sector in Australia, including universities and other quasi-government & non-government organisations.
Drupal is fast becoming the defacto standard for CMS implementations in the public sector. Roughly three-quarters of major Australian Government agencies use Drupal in some capacity, many as their primary CMS. Drupal has seen exceptionally strong growth in this sector in the past two years, and we believe that the time is right for a public forum to bring together those who use this great open source product.

Best Australian companies
Hi.
I am thinking about moving into Australia and I am curious about which Australian based companies are the best ones to work for? I'm more interested in full service advertising companies rather than just companies specialized on websites(pure Drupal shops). Also I'm more interested in companies with more than 50 employees(I've worked for small companies and I'd like to change environment).
Which companies would you recommend?

Read moreNative Phone App for a Drupal 6 site
Hi All,
I have a client (one of our older ones) which is considering development of a phone app integrated to existing D6 site - PRIMARILY as an "ease of use" for their userbase.
It would need to show latest blog posts and forum posts - and enable commenting via phone app, on both. Also the contact form.
Target platforms are iPhone and Android.
This would have to be a task I'd outsource - I have little idea about phone app development. And the more I have researched about Titanium Accelerator and PhoneGap over last few days, the more I'm convinced I have no idea what I'm doing...

I have a site that needs promoting, initially the fundraising campaign but next the full site. It is (sort of) in the gaming area so need someone who knows their way around the various gaming forums and so forth.
If you are someone like that, or know someone like that, I'd love to hear from you.
Just giving me tips isn't going to work anywhere near as well as getting someone to actually do this ... or I wouldn't be asking >.<
