DrupalSouth Videos
Hey everyone!
The videos for DrupalSouth are now on the website!
https://melbourne2015.drupal.org.au/session-recordings
The vids can be found embedded on each session node.
They're also all listed on our YouTube channel
https://www.youtube.com/user/DrupalSouth
plus @cafuego is threatening to create a torrent at some point.
Unfortunately, one session was not recorded, and we're not sure why / how that happened. It was the accessibility session

Is it possible to build something like Twitter in 5min in Drupal?
I did a presentation and ran a Drupal workshop in a university in Peru. For the workshop I asked for suggestions on what we could build in Drupal. My original idea was a Leave Application System. A test run with a few students demonstrated that this was incredibly boring. There was just too much config with the Workflow and Rules module. So thanks to Ryan Cross for the suggestion of building a Twitter clone. This was a hit!

Form API Pattern
I'm working on a drupal 6 site, with the dinosaurs (I wish), and am using node_save(&$node). I get how to pass in the node values like the title, uid and type. I'm now in search of how to pass in the field values of my node type.
The API says, in many places that,"Modules and scripts may programmatically submit nodes using the usual form API pattern." If anyone can point me to the 'usual form API pattern' description I'd be very happy.
In code I have this:
<?php
$message = new stdClass();
$message->title = $title;
$message->type = 'free_text';

I’d like to demonstrate that Drupal is fun and inspire them to learn more. The students are mainly from Computer Science.
